January 9: Free Transit for Passengers Due to State of Emergency in Ecuador

The President of Ecuador, Daniel Noboa Azín, decreed a state of emergency on Monday, January 8th, for the next 60 days, which will include a curfew every day between 23:00 and 05:00 throughout the national territory.

Passengers traveling to and from the airport on scheduled flights during the curfew hours (between 23:00 and 05:00) are exempt. Passengers must carry their passport or identification document, as well as the boarding pass or flight reservation; these documents serve as a safe-conduct for travel.

For customers with confirmed reservations from January 9th to 14th, 2024, to or from Ecuador, who are unable to travel due to the political situation occurring in the country, exoneration 10391 is enabled.
