What happens when my baggage is oversized or overweight?

When your baggage exceeds the measurements and weight allowed for checked baggage, it is considered overweight or oversized. You will be able to carry it with an additional charge if its measurements and weight are: maximum 45 kg and 230 linear cm. If your baggage has a higher weight or dimensions, we recommend that you carry it with Avianca Cargo.
