During your ticket purchase:
- Log on to avianca.com, select your destination and the fare that best suits your trip.
- Enter your data and continue to the "Additional Services" section.
- Select the option "Purchase additional baggage" and add the number of bags you need. you need.
- Save your changes and continue with the purchase of your ticket.
After purchasing your ticket:
If you already have a reservation and need to purchase additional baggage, you can do it from our website in a quick and easy way:
- Go to "Manage your booking" and select "Purchase Additional Services".
- Include with your reservation number and last name registered at the time of purchase.
- Select the "Additional baggage" option, and add the number of baggage items you wish to purchase.
- Save the changes and finalize the purchase process.
During online check-in:
- Enter your reservation information in the check-in tab to start the process.
- Fill in all the fields with your personal data and the reason for your trip.
- Select your seat. Keep in mind that this option may have an additional charge according to the type of fare you purchased. If your fare does not include seat selection.

Please be advised that until March 31, 2024, the purchase of the third piece of baggage onwards and of oversized or overweight pieces will not be available on routes with origin and destination San Salvador and destination Ontario, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Washington and New York.
